Final Day ~ Honoring the US Armed Forces...

Today is our final day this week of supporting our US Armed Forces.  Here is the last card....well actually it's the same card done two different ways.

For this first card: the card base and all the cardstock are from Recollections.  The yellow ribbon is from Paper Trey Ink.  The heart brads in the center of the ribbons are from Making Memories.  And the sentiment at the bottom of the card is from the Technique Tuesday ~ Thinking of You stamp set.

I had to make a new version of the card after I learned that it's not good to send a card to our troops that has little metal thingies in it (the government doesn't like that - oops).  So here is the newer version:

Once again, the card base and all the cardstock are from Recollections.  The red, white and blue strips are embossed with the Stars ~ Cuttlebug folder.  The ribbons are cut from the Stand and Salute ~ Cricut cartridge; with a simple star stamped at the center of the ribbon which is from the Technique Tuesday ~ Season's Greetings stamp set.   And the sentiment at the bottom of the card is from the Technique Tuesday ~ Thinking of You stamp set.

Well, that's it.  I hope you have enjoyed the focus of this week - Honoring our US Armed Forces.  I hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend.  And don't forget to remember those who have served, are serving or will serve in our US Armed Forces and take a moment to thank them for all they do for us.

Until next time...
~Cassandra
