It's not over....not yet!

Hello everyone!  Ever find one more Christmas gift that you forgot about?  Oh wait, that's the missing Easter Egg.  ;)  lol  Well anyway, I know Christmas is over, but I have one more treat to share with you.

I cut this using my Cameo and the Card Pocket Present file by Samantha Walker in the Silhouette Online Store. All of the solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  And the fun patterned papers are from the Simple Stories ~ Handmade Holiday collection.

Peekaboo!  I just love these fun ways to give a gift card.  This would be the perfect gift for the outdoors lover in your life.  :)

The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from the MCT ~ All Around Christmas.  The little tree is cut with a die in the MCT ~ All Around Holidays.  And I stamped the little hearts with the MCT ~ We Are Family.  The inks are Jet Black ~ Ranger Archival Ink and Red Royal ~ Hero Arts Shadow Ink.  I also added some yellow ~ Stickles to the star on the tree.  And then finished it off with a bow with some yellow ~ hemp twine.

Well that's it for me today.  That finishes up all of my last minute holiday treats.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and continue to enjoy the rest of your weekend.  See you all again soon.

Merry Christmas EVERYONE!!!

Hello everyone!  Merry Christmas to ALL of you.  I just wanted to share my next to last Christmas treat.  Did Santa stop at your house last night?????  I hope you got some fun crafty goodies!!!

I cut both of these cuties with my Cameo.  All of the different colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.

The Santa is the My Scrap Chick ~ Santa Paver Favor file.  Here is a side view so that you can see that he is a fun box which opens rather easily.  I dressed him up a bit by adding yellow ~ Stickles to his belt buckle and Star Dust ~ Stickles to his hat.  I also added some cute little googlie eyes to make him a little more fun.  ;)

And the present is the Rectangle Box with Bow by Lori Whitlock in the Silhouette Online Store.  That beautiful ribbon is something I recycled from a gift basket at work.  ;)

Well that's it for me.  Now get off my blog and go have fun with your family!!!  Merry Christmas everyone.  I will see you all again tomorrow.

O Christmas Tree ~ O Christmas Tree

Hello everyone!  And Merry Christmas Eve!!!  Christmas is now upon us.  And we can't have Christmas without a tree now can we???  ;)

I cut this fun little tree using my Cameo and the 3D Money Tree file from Jamie Cripps in the Silhouette Online Store. All of the solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  The fun green polka dot paper is from the Doodlebug Design ~ Petite Prints collection.  I added some garland using The Twinery ~ Maraschino Twine. All of the ornaments are Doodlebug Design ~ Jewels.  And I added yellow ~ Stickles to the star.  I also curled up the scalloped layers to give the tree some more dimension.  But wait...there's more:

Hee!  What a fun surprise...it's a secret money holder!!!  What a fun gift don't ya think?!?  I just love it!!! Here are some different views:

Well that's it for me today.  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve.  And don't forget to go to bed early so Santa doesn't pass you by.  ;)  I will see you again tomorrow.  Have a great night everyone!

Gingerbread anyone???

Hello everyone!  Before we get to my project today, I have some exciting news to share...Mr. Santa Claus (in the form of my sweet hubby) already stopped by my house this holiday season and guess what he left me??? A brand new CRICUT ~ EXPLORE!!!!  Wahoo!!!  I am sooooo excited!  It's really cool and I don't even know what I'm doing with it yet...lol!!!  I've already been watching lots of videos on it, so this new year should be very exciting.  Hee!

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled programming.  Christmas is almost here.  Are you all ready?  Well, I have a couple more Christmas treats to share with you today.  These might just be my favorite!!!

Aren't they adorable?!?  I cut these using my brand new Cricut ~ Explore.  And they are the SVG Cutting Files ~ Gingerbread Head Handled Bag Set.  All of the solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  And the green and red patterned papers are from the Carta Bella ~ Christmas Time collection.

For a little extra pop, I added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to the white icing.  I cut his bow using the MCT ~ Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die.  I added a little red button to the center and tied a bow using some  white ~ hemp twine.

For her fun bow, I used the MCT ~ Small Stitched Scallop Bow Die.  And for both little treat bags I made little tags using the MCT ~ Teeny Tag Greetings and the MCT ~ Teeny Tag Holidays.

Well that's it for me today.  I hope you like my little gingerbread treat bags.  I think the new Cricut ~ Explore is going to be a blast!!!  Have a great day everyone!  I will see you all again tomorrow.

Countdown to Christmas!

Hello everyone!  With only a few more days until Christmas, I was a crafting maniac this weekend trying to finish a few last minute gifts.  So get ready for some fun this week.  :)

First up this week, I made this super cute gift card holder.  I used my Cameo and cut this Santa Claus Gift Card Holder from Lori Whitlock in the Silhouette Online Store.  Isn't he cute?!?  All of the different colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.

For the sentiment, I used the MCT ~ Boughs of Holly and Memento Luxe ~ Wedding Dress ink.  Isn't that so cool how it slides in and out like that?!?!  Love it!!

To decorate the Santa, I used Yellow ~ Stickles on his belt buckle and Star Dust ~ Stickles on his hat.  If you look closely, you can see that I added a bit of a cotton ball to make the ball on his hat a little more realistic.  I cut the holly leaves using the MCT ~ Boughs of Holly.  And then I added a couple of red gems for the berries.

Well that's it for me today.  I hope you like this fun way to dress up a gift card holder.  Cute! Cute! Cute! Have a great day everyone!  I will see you all again tomorrow.

Hello everyone!  And welcome to the My Creative Time ~ Design Team FAREWELL BLOG HOP.  You should have arrived here from Teri Beri's blog.  If not, then make sure you head back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.

Before we get to my project, I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to Miss Emma.  You were my original inspiration for starting my blog.  Your "Throwback Thursday Challenge" was the first contest I ever entered and also the first contest I ever won.  Being on your Design Team was a dream come true and it has been a WONDERFUL experience.  Thank you so much for everything!

I also want to take a minute and say THANK YOU to all of my Design Team sisters.  You have all been such an inspiration and we have shared some AMAZING times and more than a few good laughs.  And most of all, I have made some friendships that I know I will treasure for a lifetime so thank you all for that.

Finally, I want to say THANK YOU to all of YOU.  I will never be able to put into words what a wonderful experience having a blog has been and that is because of all of YOU.  Your comments mean the world to me and have made me smile even on the worst of days.  While my time on the My Creative Time Design Team has come to an end, my crafting journey will continue.  I'm excited to see what the new year has in store and I hope you will all continue to visit my blog and say Hi.

Ok, enough of the sappy stuff lol...let's get back to my project for the day.  Rainbows anyone???  :)

For my project today, I decided to make these fun little cards for each of the Design Team members.  And of course I had to use my favorite rainbow colors.  The pretty patterned paper is from the Coredinations ~ Flower collection.  I cut the card using the MCT ~ Stitched 4x6 Journal Die & More and then just folded that in half.  To decorate the front, I cut the oval using the MCT ~ Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies.  The cute little girls and heart are from the MCT ~ We Are Family.  And the sentiment is from the MCT ~ Treasured Moments.  I added a little bow with some hemp twine.  And on the inside is a special little treat for each one of them.  Super simple and easy to reproduce.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to the Peachy Queen!

Hello everyone!  To all of you "Peachy" lovers out there...did you hear??   It's the Peachy Queen's birthday. So head on over to The Peachy Place on Facebook to help us wish Kathy a very Happy Birthday.

I might have mentioned this before, but during this year I have been taking some Copic classes with the wonderful Jennifer Dove.  And here is the very first coloring project that I have made all on my own.  It's with one of my all time favorite Peachy Kits of the Month.

Isn't he soooo cute???  I just LOVE him!  It's a good thing I made this for Kathy, because if it was for anyone else...I might have just kept it!!!  lol  ;)  This is an A2 size card.  All of the solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  And the fun patterned papers are from the Echo Park ~ Paper & Glue collection.

To cut the background pieces and the Happy Birthday banner, I used the MCT ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  The fun balloons are from the MCT ~ Stitched Party Dies.  The super duper cutie patootie clown is from the PKS ~ June 2014 : Kit of the Month.   I colored him in with my Copic ~ Sketch Markers (E50, E51, E93, R35, R46, R59, Y02, Y08, Y15, Y19, B24, B26, B28, E31, E35, E57, C1, C3).  I still have lots of practice to do, but I am super happy with how he turned out.

Well that's it for me today.  Don't forget to head on over to The Peachy Place on Facebook to help wish Miss Kathy a wonderful birthday.  I will see you all again soon.  Have a great day!

My Creative Time ~ Retirement Sale!!

Hello everyone!  Have you heard the news?!?!  Emma over at My Creative Time is having a RETIREMENT SALE!!!  Yep - you heard that right!  Get on over there while they last, because when they're gone...they are gone.

Here's a card I made with one of the sets that's still left (the last time I checked that is...lol).

This is a standard A2 size card.  All of the different colors of cardstack are from Papertrey Ink.  I used the MCT ~ Fun Borders and heat embossed it with Versamark ~ Watermark Ink and Clear ~ Stampendous Embossing Powder onto 3 strips that I cut using the MCT ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More.  (I shortened the size to make them skinny enough to fit the stamp).  Then I cut the flowers using the MCT ~ Flower Petal Dies.  I added some ribbon and a little flower embellishment and voila.  It's much prettier in real life...I had a hard taking this picture to capture the shimmery-ness of the ribbon and jewel.

Well that's it for me today.  Make sure you head on over to the My Creative Time ~ Retirement Sale right now to grab what's left.  I will see you all again soon.  Have a great day!

My Creative Time ~ 5 Days of Christmas

Hello everyone!  I can't believe it's almost over!!!  Today is Day 5 of the My Creative Time ~ 5 Days of Christmas.  Since I started the week off with a card, I thought I would end the week with a card too.

This was so hard to get a good picture of, but I promise it's super pretty and sparkly in person.  This is an A2 size card.  The white cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.  And the pretty silver snowflake paper is from the Craft Smith ~ Holiday Elegance collection.  I used the MCT ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More to cut the layers.  Then I used the MCT ~ Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies to cut out the center.  And then in the very center you can see a Christmas Tree that I cut out using the MCT ~ Seasonal Greetings.  I channeled my inner Nikki and turned this into a fun shaker card with sequins and beads.  And if you look closely, you can see that I added the sentiment at the bottom from the MCT ~ Seasonal Greetings.  I embossed it with Versamark ~ Watermark Ink and Clear ~ Stampendous Embossing Powder.
