My Creative Time ~ 33rd Stamp & Die Release : BLOG HOP

Hello everyone!  And welcome to the My Creative Time ~ 33rd Stamp & Die Release BLOG HOP!!!  You should have arrived here from Liz's blog.  If not, then make you sure head back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!

For my project today, I am featuring three brand new sets:  Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies, Bee Happy and Surf's Up.

Ok, are you ready for this?  Guess what I used to make the flower petals for my pretty sunflower????  Yep, it's the surf board die from the brand new MCT ~ Surf's Up!!!  I also embossed each petal with one of the patterned stamps in the set.  I used Versamark ~ Watermark Ink and Clear ~ Stampendous Embossing Powder. For the center of the sunflower, I used one of the circle dies in the MCT ~ Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.  The cardstock for the petals is from Paper Trey Ink.  And the patterned paper for the flower center is from the Bo Bunny ~ Double Dots collection.  For the flower stem, I used a wooden dowel and wrapped it with some fun ribbon from my stash.  The little jar is actually a recycled gravy jar.

I cut the super cute little bees with the brand new MCT ~ Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies and then stamped them with the co-ordinating stamps in the MCT ~ Bee Happy.  I colored them in with a yellow ~ Zig Marker and added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to their wings.  For a little dimension, I curled their wings to make it look like they are in motion.  I cut the label with the MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Die.  And the perfect sentiment is from the MCT ~ Bee Happy.  All of the ink is Jet Black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.

So what do you think?  Wouldn't this just brighten anyone's day?  I love it!  :)
