Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Spring Fling Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  It's time for Part 2 of the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Spring Fling Blog Hop!!  You should have arrived here from the super talented Ruthie's blog.  If not, then make sure you head back to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog so that you can start at the beginning.  You don't want to miss a thing!

This is a fun 6x6 "Happy Spring" card.  The black cardstock and the white cardstock for the card base are from Bazzill.  The white, yellow and green cardstock for the flowers are from Die Cuts With A View.  The "Happy Spring" sentiment is from the PKS ~ March 2013 : Kit of the Month.

These super cute flowers are made with the PKS ~ Cottage Cutz : Funny Flowers dies/stamps.  To give the flowers dimension, I snipped all of the petals apart and then curled them a little.  I also added some pop dots underneath the face.  The fun faces are from the PKS ~ Sweet & Silly Face Assortment.  I used a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll Pen for the eyes and some chalk for cheeks.  I inked the edges of the petals, faces, and leaves with some Chestnut Roan ~ Colorbox Ink.  The stems are made with lollipop sticks which I wrapped with some super fun ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The cute little critters are stamped with the PKS ~ Lady Bug Thank You and the PKS ~ small Bee (that was a recent free giveaway).  I colored them in with Copic ~ Sketch Markers.  And I added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to the wings of the bee for some sparkle.  At the bottom of the card, I used some Chestnut Roan ~ ColorBox Ink to make some ground.

Just a little something to make you smile (especially if you still have snow!!!  lol)

Ok, your next stop in the hop is the fabulous Miss Amy.  But in case you get lost along the way, here is the entire Blog Hop lineup:

Cassandra (that's me!)

That's it!  Simple Simple Simple!!!  Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.  And come back later today for my Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Spring Fling Blog Hop post!!

Happy Birthday !

Hello everyone!  I have a quick and simple birthday card to share with you today using the latest MCT goodies.

I think my newest addiction is Simple Stories!  Their paper collections are so much fun!  All of the papers on this card are from the Simple Stories ~ 24/7 collection.  The cute little frames are cut with the brand new MCT ~ Stitched Mini Frame Die.  The fun little lady image is from the MCT ~ We Are Family stamp set.  And all of the sentiments are from the MCT ~ It's All About You stamp set.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.  And I used some pop dots behind just a few of the frames for dimension.

On the inside, I added another cute little frame with the birthday sentiment.  And the little squares are actually the insides of the frame cutouts.  Great way to use your scraps don't ya think?

Well, that's it for today my creative friends.  I will see you all again soon.  Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Mid-Month Mini Release

Hello everyone!  This week has been busy . . . are you ready for more?  Well you're in luck, because Peachy Keen Stamps is having a Mid-Month Mini Release!!!  Wahoo!!

There are 3 brand new sentiment stamp sets that co-ordinate perfectly with the PKS ~ April 2013 : Kit of the Month, as well as another fun set including these little cuties:

This is a sweet little card I made for my cousin who just recently got engaged.  The black card base is from Recollections.  The patterned paper in the background is from the Echo Park ~ Little Girl  collection.  And the redish cardstock is from my scraps.  (Don't you just feel so good when you use some of your scraps??? LOL)   ;)

The sentiment is from the brand new PKS ~ Love Birds & Sentiments stamp set.  And it's actually in two parts: "Congratulations on your" & "Engagement!"  There are other options too, like wedding, etc., so you can easily customize your card to your particular needs.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.  The two hearts are cut with a Spellbinders ~ Nestabilities Die.  I adhered them with pop dots for dimension.

The cute little birdie couple are also from the brand new PKS ~ Love Birds & Sentiments stamp set.  I colored them in with Copic ~ Sketch Markers.

For something extra special for the lady birdie, I added some chalk for pretty cheeks and some pearl accents to her flower headband.  Isn't she so pretty?

I finished it off with a pretty lace bow made from Celebrate It ~ 360 ribbon and a red heart gem from my stash.  Simple and sweet!  Well, actually not that simple...lol...coloring always takes me forever!!!

Well, that's it for me today.  Make sure you head on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to check out the entire release.  Pssssssst...."a little birdie told me" that there might just be a sale going on too!!!!!  Wahoo!!!  Have a great day my friends!  I will see you all again soon!

My Creative Time ~ April Stamp Release : BLOG HOP !!!

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for the grand finale???  It's time for the My Creative Time ~ April Stamp Release : BLOG HOP!  You should have arrived here from the super talented Miss Amy's blog. If not, then make sure you head back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!!!

For my project today, I made a 12x12 scrapbook layout and put it in a frame for some fun Home Decor.

Isn't it so fun?  It's kinda like a little story board.  :)  I just love it!!  I used a total of 5 different MCT products.  All of the patterned papers and embellishments are from the Simple Stories ~ 24/7 collection. Let's take a closer look.

All of the cute little stamped images are from the brand new MCT ~ We Are Family stamp set.  The frames are cut with the frame die in the brand new MCT ~ Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies.  The large arrows are cut with the arrow die in the brand new MCT ~ Stitched Capture Frame & Arrow Dies.  Underneath the frames is a strip of white cardstock.  The "We are family!" sentiment is from the brand new MCT ~ We Are Family stamp set.  The inks are black ~ Ranger Archival Ink and Rhubarb Stalk ~ Memento Ink.

Across the center of the layout, I used the MCT ~ XL Label Die to cut some cute little photo mats.  Once again, all of the cardstock and embellishments are from the Simple Stories ~ 24/7 collection.  And there is another strip with "We are family!" stamped across it as well.

These are more super cute family images from the MCT ~ We Are Family stamp set.  For the two with the little baby carriages, I also added the "Welcome Sweet Baby" circle sentiment from the MCT ~ All Around Everything stamp set.

I used some pop dots underneath a few of the frames, as well as some of the embellishments for fun dimension.  A super fun "boy meets girl" love story!  I love it!!!!

My Creative Time ~ Sneak Peek Day 4 : April Release

Hello everyone!  What a great week don't you think???  It's time for Day 4 of Sneak Peek Week for the My Creative Time ~ April Release.  Today we are showcasing 4 brand new products:  Journal It, Stitched Journal Die, You Are Here, We Are Family and Stitched Restroom Peeps.  Fun! Fun!

This is a super simple, but special encouragement card for a friend.  The black card base and the white cardstock are both from Recollections.  The fun yellow stitched ribbon is from Dashes, Dots & Checks.

This sentiment is from the MCT ~ Sports Sentiments stamp set.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.

This sentiment and the fun little running man is from the brand new MCT ~ You Are Here stamp set. The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink. To achieve this look, I inked up my stamp really good then made three impressions...each one fading with less ink.  I think it kinda gives it a sense of motion.  Love it!

Once again, super simple, but very meaningful I think.

Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Baby's Room Decor

Hello everyone!  Welcome back for my second post of the day!  If you are looking for the My Creative Time ~ Sneak Peek, then just scroll down below.  Today is my day to post over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and I have a super fun Home Decor item for the Baby's Room!

My sister-in-law's daughter just had a baby last week.  So I made this fun wall hanging for my sister-in-law to hang in the baby's room at her house.  Just a nice little something to welcome her first grandchild!!

Isn't this just so cute???  I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!  This is a simple frame from Michaels for an 8x10 photo . . . I just took out the mat and the glass and replaced it with my own little scene.   :)

I stamped the baby's name with the PKS ~ Lucy's ABCs & 123s : Solids stamp set.  The little white stitched circles and pink star bursts are cut with the dies in the MCT ~ Build A Banner Kit.  The pink polka dot paper is from the Doodlebug Design ~ Petite Prints collection.  I used pop dots to add dimension. The cute little sun is from the PKS ~ You Are My Sunshine stamp set.  I colored it in with Copic ~ Sketch Markers and added a little yellow ~ Stickles to the tips of the sun's rays.  The clouds are cut with the dies in the MCT ~ Fly Away With Me Dies.  And I embossed them with the Divine Swirl ~ Cuttlebug Folder.  If you look closely, you can see that I used some blue chalk in the background to make a swirly sky.

All of the fun and colorful flowers are from my stash.  The fabulous baby faces are from the brand new PKS ~ The Moodies 1 1/8" faces.  I used a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll Pen and Copic ~ Sketch Markers for the eyes and added some chalk for cheeks.  I made the stems and leaves with pipe cleaners.  And the cute little froggie is from the PKS ~ Happy Lil' Froggies stamp set.  I colored it in with Copic ~ Sketch Markers.

This super cute little bee is a recent free giveaway from PKS.  I colored it in with Copic ~ Sketch Markers and also added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to the wings for some sparkle.  I used a black ~ Zig Writer Pen to doodle the bee's flight path.  If you look closely, you can also see that I added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to the tears of the sad little blue flower.

Here's the other cute little froggie.  How do you like my coloring?  Getting better I hope.  :)  For the grass at the bottom of the scene, I used some Celebrate It ~ Easter ribbon and used a hot glue gun to bunch it up randomly.

Well, I must say . . . I think this is one of my favorite projects ever!  I love all the baby faces showing the different moods . . . cute cute cute!!!  If you haven't yet, make sure you hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.  The Design Team does an amazing job each and every day!!!  You are sure to find some creative inspiration.  :)  Have a great day my friends!  I will see you all again tomorrow.
