My Creative Time ~ Sneak Peeks Day 1 : August Release

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for a super fun week?!?  It's time for the My Creative Time ~ August Release!!!  Wahoo!!!  For those of you who may be new to this - when Emma has a new product release, the MCT ~ Design Team creates some awesome projects to share with you before the big reveal.  This is such a super fun release that I went a little crazy...I made two projects for each day!  So get ready for some fun!!

For Day 1 of Sneak Peek Week, we will be showcasing 4 new sets:  Build A Chevy Background, Fright Night, Spooky Starry Night, and Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies.

This is a spooky fun 6x6 card.  The card base is made from Bazzill cardstock.  The white and the gray cardstock are from Recollections.  And all of the fun patterned papers are from the We R Memory Keepers ~ Bewitched collection.

I cut the large tombstone using the MCT ~ Just Tags.  If you look closely, you can see that I chalked it up a bit to make it look old.  The date stamp is from the brand new MCT ~ Spooky Starry Night.  The little kitty cat is from the MCT ~ Treats For My Sweet.  I cut the ghosts with the brand new MCT ~ Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies.  Aren't they cute???  And the clouds are cut using the MCT ~ Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies.

I cut the smaller tombstones using the banner dies in the MCT ~ Build A Banner Kit.  I stamped the "RIP" using the MCT ~ Just Simply Live.  The little ghostie, the spider and the spider web are from the MCT ~ Treats For My Sweet.  The bigger kitty on the right is from the brand new MCT ~ Fright Night.

I cut the banner using the MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Dies.  To fit the sentiment, I used Emma's technique of making the tag longer in my Cuttlebug.  The "Wishing you a spooky starry night!" sentiment is from the brand new MCT ~ Spooky Starry Night.  The bats are from the brand new MCT ~ Fright Night.  I just taped them off and stamped one at a time in the places that I wanted them.

This super spooky witch flying on her broom is from the brand new MCT ~ Fright Night.  If you look closely, you can see that I used pop dots under the clouds for some dimension.

My second project is this super simple card...does it remind you of anyone???  ;)  The card base is made from Bazzill cardstock.  The kraft cardstock is from Paper Trey Ink.  And the yellow cardstock is from Recollections.  I embossed the kraft background piece with the Polka Dots ~ Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.  I cut the yellow piece using the MCT ~ Stitched Journal Die.  The chevron stamp at the bottom is from the brand new MCT ~ Build A Chevy Background.  And the sentiment I stamped using the alphabet stamps from the MCT ~ Just Simply Live.  I used pop dots behind the yellow piece for dimension.

**********SNEAK PEEK GIVEAWAY!**********
We will be giving away the set we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner!  For example, the set we are showcasing on Monday, we will announce the winner of that on Tuesday and so on...  ALL you have to do is leave a comment on each of our blogs.  You are NOT required to comment on EVERY SINGLE blog, but the more you comment, the better chance you have for winning!  For EXTRA entries, you can spread the word about this release on Facebook, tweet about it OR even instagram it!  #mycreativetime  GOOD LUCK EVERYONE & let's start spreading the word!  :)
***********************************

Well that's it for me for Day 1 of Sneak Peek Week.  I hope you liked my cards for today.  Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of Design Team has created.  Have a great day everyone! I will see you all again tomorrow.

Okay girl, I just LOVE you! Our minds do think so much alike. The Charlie Brown card is perfect. When I saw that thick Chevron it was the first thing I thought of was his shirt. I didn't make anything with it but I definitely thought of it. And I love your scene. The headstones and stamps on them are awesome, not to mention the whole scene! You rock!!!! Hugs- Glora

Super adorable ghost card, Cassandra. Caught my eye right away with those ghosts in vellum, super idea. Then I love how you used the tag and banner dies to make the tombstones. Well done! Your beautiful but simple card with the chevron stripe is fabulous, too. I love the yellow against the embossed kraft and you used my most favorite 3x4 journaling die. I can't put that die down. I use it almost everyday.
