HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my BFF !!!

Hello everyone!  Today I have a fun little card that I made for my BFF's birthday.  A few months ago, she won a trip to Jamaica on one of our local radio stations...how fun is that?!? Anyway, she is getting ready to go in a couple of weeks, so I thought I would give her some fun Birthday Cash that she can spend while she is there.

So I looked online to see what Jamaica's flag looks like and this is it.  All of the different colors of cardstock are from Recollections.  I used the brand new My Creative Time ~ Lower Case Fun Dies to cut "jamaica".  I also cut it out in both white and gray and offset them a little for a different look. I used some pop dots behind it as well for dimension.  The "Happy Birthday" & "Just For You!" are from the My Creative Time ~ Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.  I rolled up the money and attached it with removable adhesive.  How fun don't you think???  I know it's a lot...but she deserves it!  :)

That's it for now.  Come back in a couple of minutes...I will have the winners of my 500 Followers Giveaway!!!

Day 5 as Guest Designer for "Obsessed with Scrapbooking"

Hello everyone!  Well, it's my very last day as a Guest Designer for Obsessed with Scrapbooking this week.  I have had so much fun and have enjoyed reading each and every comment that you all have left.  Thank you so very much for all of your kinds words and support.  And another big THANK YOU to Joy for having me this week!  It has been a wonderful experience and I have loved every single minute of it.

So far this week, all of my projects have focused on a Thanksgiving theme as I was hoping to give you some fun ideas for your holiday decor next week.  Today however, I made something a little different and very special to me.

My husband and I have been together for 15 wonderful years and today is actually our 10th Wedding Anniversary!  So I pulled out a few of my favorite photos and made this simple 12x12 layout to hang in my craftroom.

The "forever" is cut from the Home Decor ~ Cricut Cartridge.  And the "together" is cut from the Graphically Speaking ~ Cricut Cartridge.  The heart is cut with the heart die from the My Creative Time ~ 100% Sweetness stamp set.  All of the cardstock is from Bazzill.  Super simple, but very special.  I love it!

**********GIVEAWAY**********
Ok everyone, how about a giveaway?  Or how about two giveaways?!?  Since it's Thanksgiving next week, I have the Simply Scarecrow ~ Cricut Cartridge and the My Creative Time ~ Piles of Smiles stamp set to give away. Woot!  Woot!

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post.  And then hop on over to Obsessed with Scrapbooking and leave a comment on my Guest Designer post over there.  I will pick one winner from all the comments this week on this blog and one winner from all the comments on the Guest Designer posts over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  SO...for more chances to win...make sure you leave a comment on each post for each day!  And don't forget to leave a way for me to contact you. You will have until midnight MST on Sunday, November 18th to get your comments in.  I will use random.org to pick the winners.  And I will announce both winners on my blog on Tuesday, November 20th. My Creative Time ~ November Stamp Release : BLOG HOP!!!

Hello everyone!  What great Sneak Peeks this week from the Design Team don't you think???  Well, now it's time for the best part . . . the BLOG HOP!!!  Now this month we are doing it a little differently.  Emma has divided the Design Team into two parts and we are going to have a 2 Day BLOG HOP!!!  You should have arrived here from the super talented Amy's blog. If not, then make sure you head back to My Creative Time, so that you can start at the beginning.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!

For my project today, I made these cute little baby shower treats - featuring the Vintage Stitched Label Dies, the Vintage Label Stamps & the Vintage Label Sentiments.

I don't know about you, but whenever I make a project with candy in it...somehow it always ends up disappearing!!!  I  must have some little gremlins in my craftroom...lol.  Luckily I took the pictures before I ate all the kisses!!!

To make these little treats, I cut out the large background piece with the brand new MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Die. Then I turned them vertically and punched a whole in each end with my Crop-a-Dile so that I could easily slide the craft sticks through.  It's a nice snug fit, so I didn't have to use any adhesive on them or the craft sticks.

The pink patterned paper for this treat is from the Doodlebug Designs ~ Petite Prints collection (it's the reverse side of the polka dots).  The center piece is made with the MCT ~ Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies.  The orange cardstock is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage collection.  The white cardstock is from Recollections.  The dotted/line border is from the MCT ~ Vintage Label Stamps. The cute little baby carriage is from the MCT ~ All Around Everything Accessories stamp set.  I colored it in with Prismacolor Pencils and then blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits.  The little white banner piece is cut with another die in the MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Dies.  The "Congratulations" sentiment is from the MCT ~ Vintage Label Sentiments.

I used lots of pop dots for dimension of course.  The rick rack on the dixie cups is from my stash.  And the little chocolate kisses actually say "It's a boy!" & "It's a girl!"  Isn't that cute???

The blue polka dot patterned paper for this treat is from the Bo Bunny ~ Double Dots collection.  The green cardstock for the scallop circle is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage collection. The white cardstock is from Recollections.  The cute little umbrella is from the MCT ~ All Around Everything Accessories stamp set.  I once again colored it in with Prismacolor Pencils and then blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits.  The "Precious Baby" sentiment is from the MCT ~ Vintage Label Sentiments.  All of the ink is black ~ Ranger Archival ink.

Well, I hope you like my little baby shower treats.  I would offer you some chocolate...but it's all gone!!!  LOL   ;)

Day 4 as Guest Designer for "Obsessed with Scrapbooking"

Hello everyone!  And welcome back for Day 4 of my Guest Designer week over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  I have been having the best time ever!  And I can't believe it's almost over!!! Today I have two more quick and easy projects for you.

First up, I made this fun "Happy Thanksgiving" door hanger for the front door to welcome guests as they come over for dinner:

I got this simple wooden sign at Michaels for $1.  It has some silly phrase on the other side that I knew I would never use, but I bought it anyway and just turned it around and decorated the back.  You could also easily paint over it if you wanted to. All of the different colors of patterned cardstock for this are from the Bo Bunny ~ Double Dots Collection.

Here is another little cutie cut from the Create a Critter 2 ~ Cricut Cartridge.  His sweet eyes are from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Bear Facial Features stamp set.  I did the accents for the eyes with a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen. All of the beautiful leaves are cut with the leaf dies in the My Creative Time ~ Piles of Smiles stamp set.

The acorn is also cut from the Create A Critter 2 ~ Cricut Cartridge.  And once again, the pretty little leaves are cut with dies from the My Creative Time ~ Piles of Smiles stamp set.

The "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment is cut from the Elmo & Friends Holiday ~ Cricut Cartridge.  I used pop dots for some dimension.  And the beautiful bow is made with Celebrate It ~ Harvest Ribbon.

The second project is a simple table topper that I plan to put either on the food table or perhaps the coffee table:

This is about as simple as you can get.  The base is from the Simple Stories ~ Harvest Lane Collection (it's all one piece). Then I cut the "Happy Thanksgiving" again, along with its shadow from the Elmo & Friends Holiday ~ Cricut Cartridge.  The only thing I did to this was totally bling it out with a bunch of gems from my stash.  That's it! Super super easy!

I hope you like both of these little projects today.  Sometimes, I think it's important to keep some projects simple so that we can remember to keep the focus on what's really important...spending time with our loved ones and eating a bunch of really really good food!!!!  LOL   ;)

**********GIVEAWAY**********
Ok everyone, how about a giveaway?  Or how about two giveaways?  Since it's Thanksgiving next week, I have the Simply Scarecrow ~ Circut Cartridge & the My Creative Time ~ Piles of Smiles stamp set. Woot!  Woot!

My Creative Time ~ Sneak Peek Day 3 : November Release

This is my 2nd post for the day.  To see my Guest Designer post for Obsessed with Scrapbooking click here.

Hello everyone!  And welcome to Day 3 of the My Creative Time ~ Sneak Peek Week.  The brand new sets that the Design Team will be showcasing are:  Vintage Stitched Label Dies, Vintage Label Stamps and Vintage Sentiments.  I'm not on the schedule for today, but of course couldn't help but make a little something.

You are probably going to see a lot of really pretty projects from the Design Team today, but I decided to do something a little different.  I decided to make this fun "You Can Do It" card. You never know when you might need one of those.  The black cardstock is from Recollections.  The fun patterned paper in the background is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ Le Tres Chic collection.  It reminded me of the street, so I thought it would go perfect with my traffic light!!!

The black pieces are cut with the brand new MCT ~ Vintage Label Die.  It has Emma's signature stitching!!!  Woot! Woot! The white banner piece is also a die in this set.  More stitching! Woot!  Woot!  The alphabet stamps are the ones I showed you on Monday - the MCT ~ Label Font.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.

The circles are cut with the circle die in the MCT ~ Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies set.  The red, yellow and green cardstock are from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection.  I added pop dots behind everything for dimension.

That's it for today.  A super quick card.  Hope you like it!
