MCT ~ "Beary Special Blog Hop"

Hello everyone!  Even though it's not quite Halloween, Emma has decided to give you all a "Beary Special" treat"!  This doesn't cause weight gain, but it will cause CUTENESS OVERLOAD!  Included in this hop, you will see a "Beary Special" stamp set that was designed by Emma for this special hop.  Also, joining us for this hop are 5 - VERY TALENTED "Guest Designers"!

You should have arrived here from the super creative Amy's blog.  If not, then make sure you head back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!  So find a comfy place to sit and grab your favorite beverage - you are in for a "Beary Special" treat!

Isn't he a cutie?  I just love him!  The black, white and red cardstock are all from Recollections.  The polka dot patterned paper in the background is from the Simple Stories ~ Handmade Holidays stack.

This sweet little teddy bear is cut from the brand new Create A Critter 2 ~ Cricut Cartridge.  The scalloped oval shapes in the background are cut from the Art Philosophy ~ Cricut Cartridge.  The sweet little stitched hearts that I stamped all around the oval shape are from this brand new My Creative Time ~ Beary Special Thoughts stamp set.  I colored them in lightly with a pink ~ Prismacolor Pencil.

The "Guess how much I love you?" sentiment is also from this set.  You are going to love it - there are the greatest sentiments in this set!

Now, for the second half of my sentiment, I used the stamp that says "I love you Beary much!" However, I taped off the "I love you" part and first stamped "Beary much!", then I taped off the "much!" and stamped "Beary" a couple more times.

So now the whole thing reads "Guess how much I love you? . . . Beary Beary Beary much!"  Isn't that so cute?  If you've never tried to do this with your stamps, give it a shot. You can create just about anything when you put your mind to it!

MCT ~ Designer Challenge : Host - Tracy

Hello everyone!  It's time for another Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time.

For those of you who are new to this, every other Thursday - one of the members of the My Creative Time ~ Design Team will host a challenge.  This time the host is Miss Tracy. And her challenge is:  to make any project of your choice - using Googlie Eyes.  How fun is that?!?!!  You will have 2 weeks to complete your project and add your link to the post over at My Creative Time.  You can head on over there to get all of the details.  But before you go, check out my card:

The solid black cardstock is from Recollections.  The white cardstock is Georgia Pacific.  The fun green spider web patterned paper in the background is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ The Halloween & Fall stack.  The orange polka dot paper is from the Echo Park ~ Chillingsworth Manor stack. The fun shape in the background is cut from the Art Philosophy ~ Cricut Cartridge.

This awesome "BOO" sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ Treats For My Sweet stamp set. The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.  I cut it out by hand and popped it up with some pop dots. I also added some Lavendar ~ Stickles to the little polka dots.  Isn't that little spider cute?  It's actually part of the stamp!  Love it!!!

The fun little bow is made with 3 different colors of twine from The Twinery ~ Charcoal, Lemondrop and Lilac.

These super cute little ghosties are from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Happy Haunting Ghosts.  I cut them out using the PKS ~ SVG file and my Silhouette.  I added grey chalk to make them look a little whispy and also some pink chalk for cheeks. And of course, who doesn't love those Googlie Eyes?!?!?  My fav!!!  They are all popped up with pop dots for fun flying dimension.

Well, that's it for me today.  Even though it's still 100 degrees here in AZ, it's starting to feel like fall when I'm making Halloween projects!  LOL  Have a great day everyone.  I will see you again tomorrow.  And don't forget to head back over to My Creative Time to check out all the details about the Challenge.  Can't wait to see what you make!!!

My Creative Time ~ September Stamp Release : BLOG HOP!!

Hello everyone!  What a great two days of Sneak Peeks - don't ya think?!?!  Well now it's time for my favorite part . . . the BLOG HOP!!!  You should have arrived here from the super talented Amy's blog.  If not, then make sure you head back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!

For my project today, I am featuring the brand new and super fun Just Tags.  Now even though I think these tags are going to be absolutely PERFECT for Christmas presents this year, I decided to try them out for Halloween.  Hope you like it!

What do ya think of my little ghosties????  I just LOVE them!!! These tag dies are just AWESOME!!!  You are sooo going to love them!!!  There are two dies in this set for perfect layering every time!  And the top layer has Emma's beautiful signature stitching!!!  Love it!!

Ok, here are the details for my project.  The fun cupcake holders are cut from the Cupcake Wrappers ~ Cricut Cartridge and the black cardstock is from Recollections.  The ghosts are cut with the brand new My Creative Time ~ Just Tags.  Both the grey and the white cardstock are from Recollections and all of the different colored background layers are from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection.  The twine for their cute little bows is from The Twinery.

Here are some close up shots:

These spooky little eyes are from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ The Uglies face assortment.  For all these fun faces, I colored them in with Prismacolor ~ Pencils and blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits.  And then for all of the eyes, I added Glossy Accents and then popped them up with pop dots for some fun dimension.

This face is also from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ The Uglies face assortment.  Do you like how I gave him bloodshot eyes?  LOL

This face is from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Make A Monster face assortment.  I just love using the pop dots for dimension...totally makes the eyes pop a little.

Both of these eyes are once again from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ The Uglies face assortment.

Sorry about this dumb photo, but you will get a kick out the story.  Before I tell you that though, this cute little face is from the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Monster Mash face assortment.

Ok, now for the story.  So I'm sitting here writing up my post and adding my photos, when all of a sudden I realize I forgot to take a photo of my favorite one (the little lady above).  Of course I scream out (a word I won't repeat here)...lol...and my husband comes running in..."What's the mater????"  So I tell him what happened, he looks at me, I look at him and then together we burst out laughing.  Why you ask???  Because we both just polished off every single one of those yummy cupcakes!!!!  So I didn't have one left to go and take the photo!!!!  OMGeee!!!  Not only that, but right about now I am typing like a maniac from the extreme sugar rush!!!  LOL

Well my creative friends, I hope you like my little Halloween treats!  These new tag dies are a MUST HAVE so get your orders in quick!!!

All of these teeny tiny gift bags are from Michaels, as well as all of the super cute ribbons and the crinkled filler on the inside of the bags.  These were all super easy to make and could be mass produced for a Halloween party very quickly.  Here are some close up shots:

My Creative Time ~ 3D Wednesday

Hello everyone!  It's time for another "3D Wednesday" with My Creative Time. The goal is to make anything besides a card or layout.

And today's theme is a Baby Shower or Wedding Shower Party Favor.  I decided to go with Baby Shower:

Aren't they so cute???  The fun little baby carriages are cut from the Baby Shower ~ Cricut Cartridge.  Inside is a little baggie full of chocolate.  I was originally going to use those yummy party mints, but I couldn't find any.  Unfortunately, the chocolates didn't last long.  Somehow after the photos were taken, they disappeared.  I guess there must have been a hole in the bag. LOL   ;)

The solid pink cardstock is from Recollections.  The pretty flower paper is from the Bella Blvd ~ Baby Girl collection.  I added some Stardust ~ Stickles to the rocker part for a little extra something.  The orange bow is made with Liz's Paper Loft Boutique ~ Seam Binding.  Then I used the My Creative Time ~ Teeny Tag Greetings to make the "Precious baby" tag.  The little white bow is made with DMC Floss.  And the bow on the chocolate baggie is made with The Twinery ~ Lemon Drop Twine.

The blue cardstock is from Recollections.  The fun monkey patterned paper is from the Bella Blvd ~ Baby Boy collection.  I added Stardust ~ Stickles to the rocker part.  The tag and sentiment are once again made with the My Creative Time ~ Teeny Tag Greetings.  The orange bow is made with Liz's Paper Loft Boutique ~ Seam Binding.  The little white bow is made with DMC Floss.  And the bow on the chocolates is made with The Twinery ~ Lemon Drop Twine.

Well, that's it for me.  Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.  And if you haven't tried one ~ whip up a little 3D project of your own.  You might just get addicted!!!  See you all again soon.  Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Sept. Release

Hello everyone!  I mentioned yesterday that Peachy Keen Stamps had their September Stamp Release last week. And over at the Peachy Keen Connection they had a couple of fun challenges.  So today I have my card for Challenge #2 ~ Sketch Challenge.  The guidelines for this challenge:  You can make anything you would like as long as it follows the basic elements of the sketch and includes Peachy Keen Stamps.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

The card base, the orange cardstock and the grey cardstock are from Recollections.  The striped patterned paper is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ The Bella Armoire stack.  The pretty ribbon accent is made with 3 different ribbons: black ~ Celebrate It : Occasions Tulle, orange ~ Celebrate It : 360 ribbon and purple ~ Sheer Creations ribbon.  And in the upper corners, I added some purple gems from my stash.

I used the My Creative Time ~ XL Label Die to cut the opening.  Then on the inside, I used the Haunted House stamp from the brand new Peachy Keen Stamps ~ September 2012 : Kit of the Month.  I used yellow and green ~ Prismacolor Pencils to color in the house.  And then around the outside of the house I used some black chalk, with purple chalk accents in the top half and green chalk accents in the bottom half.  I thought it gave it an eerie look.  And if you look closely, I used a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add some little eyes to the ghost in the doorway.  Cute!  :)

That's it for today.  I love how spooky it looks!!! What do you think?  Have a great day everyone!

And don't forget ~ Today is "Show Me Your Technique" over at My Creative Time.  Let's hop on over there and learn something new!!!

See you all tomorrow!
