My Creative Time ~ August Stamp Release : BLOG HOP !!!

Hello everyone!  What a FABULOUS Sneak Peek Week, don't you think?  I hope you are filled with tons of creative inspiration for the upcoming holidays.  (Wow!  It's hard for me to say "upcoming holidays" when it's still 115 degrees here in Phoenix!!!  LOL)  Well, hopefully you have arrived here from the incredibly talented Amy's blog.  If not, then make sure you go back to My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning with Emma.  You definitely don't want to miss a thing!

For my projects today, I am showcasing the From Our Family To Yours stamp set.

I decided to stay with the Christmas theme so maybe it would help keep my mind off the hot temperatures outside...lol. These are both 6x6 cards.

The white and the black cardstock are both from Recollections. The pretty blue patterned paper is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ The Christmas & Winter stack.  If you look closely you can see that I added various sizes of clear gems inside the star bursts for a little extra sparkle.  The pretty bow is made with Celebrate It ~ Holiday ribbon.

Both of the sentiments and the cute patootie little penguin family are from the brand new My Creative Time ~ From Our Family To Yours stamp set.  The ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.  I popped it up with some pop dots for a little dimension.

For this card, the white cardstock is from Recollections. The red cardstock is from Bazzill.  And the green patterned paper is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ The Christmas & Winter stack. And the beautiful bow is made with Celebrate It ~ Holiday ribbon.

I used the same two sentiments as in the last card.  And the beautiful image is the brand new My Creative Time ~ Christmas House stamp.  And as a special treat . . . Emma will be giving this away to the first 75 people who order!!  How fun is that?  I colored the house with Prismacolor ~ Pencils and then blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits.  I added a little red gem for the door handle.  And for some extra sparkle, I used Star Dust ~ Stickles for the snow.  What a pretty little scene don't you think?  I'm thinking 25-30 degrees sounds much better than 115 degrees.  On second thought, nah . . . I'd rather turn on my AC than shovel snow . . . LOL!!!

Well, that's it my friends.  With all of the holiday fun this week, you all have plenty of inspiration to get started on your holiday projects.  No procrastinating!!!   ;)

*****BLOG HOP GIVEAWAY ALERT*****
For our Blog Hop Giveaway, there will be 2 winners chosen from ALL the comments combined!  The 1st prize is: A guest designer spot for our next release in Sept. & the 2nd prize is you can pick $50 worth of products from the "My Creative Time" store!  All you have to do is leave comments here along with the rest of the Design Team's blogs AND also leave a way for us to contact you.  Emma will use random.org to pick the lucky winners.  All you have to do is leave a comment on all blogs in this hop for more chances to win!  The deadline is Sunday, August 19th at midnight!  EASY PEASY!!!  GOOD LUCK!!  :)
***********************************

Ok everyone, that wraps up the My Creative Time ~ August Stamp Release.  Here are all the stamp sets in this release:

I hope you have enjoyed all of the Sneak Peeks this week.  I can't wait to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.  So let's get hopping.  Your next stop in the hop is the wonderful Cathryn, but in case you get lost along the way - here is the entire lineup:

Cassandra, those cards are divine! I especially like the one with the penguins! What a great idea to put gems inside the stars on the paper. Just beautiful! Sometimes I wish I lived in the Northern Hemisphere to have cold Christmases. The temperatures you have right now are our Christmas Day in Melbourne!! Thanks for sharing!
