Fancy Fan Contest

Hello everyone!  Ok ~ I have to admit ~ I didn't get ANY crafting done in Vegas! LOL  Which means I don't have any projects to show you this week.  So instead I thought I would show you some more pictures from our super fun Cricut Circle Meet-Up.

Angie had a Fancy Fan Contest.  Each Circlet was supposed to make a Fan using your Cricut and Cuttlebug and I think some bling.  I ran out of time, so I never got to make one, but here are some pictures of some AMAZING creations:

Ok, I have to be honest again...I totally missed who the winner was...I think I was in the bathroom...LOL  But isn't all the creativity just AMAZING?!?  They did such a great job.

Well, that's it for today.  Hopefully, I will be back soon with some projects...have to finish unpacking and reorganizing my craftroom.  See you soon :)

Back from Vegas!

Hello everyone!  Boy am I tired.  Just got back from the Cricut Circle Meet-Up in Vegas this weekend.  We had soooo much fun!  Here are a few pictures:

Here we are to start off the weekend with a fabulous Mexican fiesta on Thursday afternoon.  Cheers!

This is a group shot of us at the Private Scrap Party on friday...proudly wearing our Cricut green of course :)

This is a group shot from the Saturday Meet-Up.

These are all of the calling cards I collected.  I think there might be a few missing - my room is a total mess right now LOL.

These are a few different treats that my fellow Circlets made.  A few of them didn't make home and aren't in this picture, but boy were they yummy!

These are all of the pins I collected in the pin swap.  It's so fun to see all the different creativity.

And here are a couple of gifts from our wonderful hostess Angie.  You should see the bracelet in person...it's the perfect Cricut Circle accessory!

And last but definitely not least, here we are at the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign...which didn't make it into this picture LOL because we got distracted by these very cute gentlemen from England who were in Las Vegas for a bachelor party.  Details you ask.  I'm sorry, but "what happens in Vegas - stays in Vegas"  ;)

See you again soon.  Until then...have a great week!

Holiday Pins

Hello everyone!  Ok, today is the final day of the projects I made for the Cricut Circle Meet-Up in Vegas this week.  One of the activities at the Meet-Up is a Pin Swap.

The guidelines for this swap: the finished size no larger than 3x3; use a pin backing; choose any theme or holiday you like; must include some kind of bling (glitter, rhinestones, etc.).  I have never made pins before and I have no idea what to expect from everone else, but I came up with all of these little cuties:

I decided to go with a holiday theme.  And then I couldn't decide which was cuter...Halloween or Christmas.  And then I couldn't decide on just one image.   So I made 8 different kinds LOL.  And then I made 5 of each to make sure I had enough for everyone.  Aren't they soooo cute?!?

All of the pins are made using the My Creative Time ~ Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  Also, all of them have a Recollections ~ rhinestone circle around the edge.  The actual rhinestone circle sticker was a little too big, so I just cut out one of the stones and squished the two ends together to make the circle a little smaller.

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is from the Echo Park Paper Co. ~ Merry Christmas paper collection.  And I used a red colored pencil to color in Santa's jacket.  I also just realized that I meant to use Stickles for the trim....bummer!  Oh well, that's a cute idea for next time. LOL

This pin is also stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is from the Doodlebug Design ~ Petite Prints paper line.  And I used red and green colored pencils to color in the cute little elf shoes.

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Halloween stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is from Doodlebug Design ~ Petite Prints paper line.  And I used orange and white colored pencils to color in the super cute ghost.

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is Bazzill ~ wedding cardstock.  And I used white, orange, black and blue colored pencils to color in this happy little snowman.  I decided to make this a more wintery feel rather than traditional Christmas colors.  I think he turned out so cute!

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Halloween stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is from the Jillibean Soup ~ Dutch Mustard Soup paper collection.  And I used orange, green and brown colored pencils to color in the pumpkin.

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is from the Doodlebug Design ~ Petite Prints paper line.  And I used green, brown and yellow colored pencils to color in the cute little Christmas tree.

This pin is stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Halloween stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is Coredinations cardstock.  And I used orange, yellow, purple and green colored pencils to color in the tasty little treat.

This final pin is also stamped with images from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Halloween stamp set.  The cardstock for the scallop circle is Coredinations cardstock.  And I used purple and orange colored pencils to color in the spooky witches hat.

They are all so cute.  I just love them.  Which one is your favorite?  I still can't decide :)

Well, I hope they all like them.  I'm so nervous because I have no idea what to expect from this kind of swap.  Should be fun.  I will post pictures of what I get in the swap when I  get back.

See you all next week.  Hope you have a great weekend!

It's VEGAS baby!!!

Hello everyone!  It's day 3 of the little goodies I made for the Cricut Circle Meet-Up in Vegas this week.  The actual Meet-Up is on Saturday.  Here are the little treats I made for all the attendees:

Cuteness overload!!!  The little purses are cut from the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More ~ Cricut cartridge.  The shimmery cardstock is Bazzill ~ wedding cardstock.  I thought it looked more like real playing cards than regular white cardstock.  And the red & black cardstock are from Recollections

The red scallop circle is cut with an EK Success ~ Paper Shapers punch.  I added some dots to highlight the scallop circle with a white ~ Sharpie Poster Paint pen.  The "Vegas" is cut from the Tie the Knot ~ Cricut cartridge.  I added some Stardust ~ Stickles to the starbust and a Recollections gem to to the center to give it that Vegas sparkle!

The spade, diamond, heart and club are all cut from the Indie Art ~ Cricut cartridge.  Aren't they sooo cool?!?

The ribbon is from Offray.  And on the inside of the little purse is some red tissue and --- wait for it --- wait for it --- real chocolate coins!!!!  What scrapbooking event would be complete without chocolate?  LOL  I got the chocolate coins at Party City.  This might just be my favorite treat I have made so far.  Too bad the coins aren't real right???  On second thought, being in Vegas, chocolate might be safer. LOL

Well, that's my project for today.  I have one more project to show tomorrow.  See you then...

Vegas Treat Bags

Hello everyone!  Ok, today is day 2 of my projects for the Cricut Circle Meet-Up in Vegas this week.  On Friday, we are having a private scrap party at a local scrapbook store in Vegas.  Here are some little treat bags I made to give all the attendees:

They are soooo cute!  I just can't stand it!!!  Do you recognize the materials?  They are from Emma's stamp and die release last week.  The topper is cut with the My Creative Time ~ XL Label Die.  I also stamped the outline which is from the My Creative Time ~ Whimsical Calendar Days stamp set.  Just in case you can't tell, I simply folded the topper in half and stapled it to the bag (staples hidden of course).

The starburst circle and the little stiched circle are cut with the dies in the My Creative Time ~ Build A Banner Kit.  The club, heart, spade and diamond are stamped with the My Creative Time ~ Game Night stamp set. For the ink, I used Memento ~ Tuxedo Black & Ladybug Red.  I added some simple white dots to the starburst with a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen.  Oh...and in case you were wondering...the candy on the inside are simple party mints I got from Party City.  How fun are they?!?

Well, that's it for today.  What do ya think?  Too cute right???  Wait for tomorrow!!!  See you then...

THANK YOU Gift Card

Hello everyone!  Well this week is the Cricut Circle Meet-Up in Henderson/Vegas-Nevada.  And I spent all weekend getting my goodies ready.  So this week, I will have some fun projects to show you.

Here are some Thank You gift cards I made for the folks who are hosting the Meet-Up:

The gift card holder is cut with the most awesome die ever!  It's the My Creative Time ~ Gift Card Die.  And it's 'to die' for!  LOL  The sentiment at the top is from the My Creative Time ~ Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.  The Cricut head is cut from the Cricut Everyday ~ Cricut cartridge.  The scallop circle in the middle of the Cricut head is cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop Die.  The Thank You sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ So Grateful For You stamp set.  And the ribbon is Celebrate It ~ Sheer Creations.    The only thing I really did to this is add some black dots to the scallop circle with a black ~ Zig Writer pen.

Here's the inside:

Who doesn't love a good Starbucks gift card?!  Except for me LOL...I'm one of those weird people who not only doesn't drink coffee, but I can't even stand the smell!  Weird...I know.  LOL

Well, that's it for today.  I hope they like them.  See you back here tomorrow...

For my project today, I am showcasing, the "Whimsical Calendar Days"  stamp set and the "XL Label Die".  I am so glad I had the opportunity to show you this set again so that you can see how versatile this set can be.  This card is a totally different look than the one I did on Wednesday.  Here is my final project for the week:

The white cardstock is from Recollections.  The pretty snowflake patterned paper in the background is from the Echo Park Paper Co. ~ Wintertime paper collection.  For the snowy hills, I used the Divine Swirls ~ Cuttlebug folder to emboss white cardstock.  And then I added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to give it that snowy sparkle.

The circles for the snowman are cut from the George & Basic Shapes ~ Cricut cartridge.  The top hat is cut from the A Child's Year ~ Cricut cartridge.  I added some white stitching with a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen.  The super cute face is stamped with the Peachy Keen Stamps ~ Winter Face Assortment stamp set.  And I used colored pencils to color in the carrot nose and corncob pipe.  Oh...and did you notice that I used real twigs for the snowman's arms?  Too cute, right ?!  LOL

For the sentiment, I used the "Gift Card Sentiments" stamp set and the "Stitched Oval Die" released last month.  For the ink, I used Memento ~ Tuxedo Black and Ladybug Red.  The calendar is of course from the "Whimsical Calendar Days" stamp set.  And it is stamped on the image cut with the "XL Label Die".  Here are the pictures of these two new releases:

And guess what you lucky duckies:

My Creative Time - September Release - Sneak Peek Day 4

Hello everyone!  Today is the fourth and final day of sneak peeks at My Creative Time.   The big  reveal is tomorrow morning at 8am PST ~ you don't want to miss it!  My week as Guest Designer couldn't have been any better.  It has gone by so fast, but I have been loving every minute of it.  Thank you for sharing it with me.  :)

Today we are all using the "Build a Banner Kit". It comes with 4 different dies and 4 different background stamps and it totally ROCKS!!!  Here is Sneak Peek #4:

I told you it ROCKED!!!  Just wait until you get one :)  All of the patterned paper in this card (except for the background banner pieces) are from the Die Cuts With a View ~ Harvest Gathering paper collection.  The ribbon is Celebrate It ~ Sheer Creations.

The die cut underneath the "give" is actually the "XL Label Die" shown in my project yesterday, I just cut it in half for this card.  And the super cool alphabet stamps are from the "Everyday BINGO and Crossword" stamp set that was previewed in my post on tuesday.

The actual banners behind the "thanks" are made using solid colored cardstock and the 4 different patterned background stamps in this set.  Once you stamp your image, you then use the banner dies and run them through your Cuttlebug.  And voila! ~ an awesome banner!  They are sooo cool and sooo easy to use!  For the ink, I used Memento ~ Rich Cocoa and Technique Tuesday ~ Orange.

Out of all my projects for this week, my husband likes this one the best - LOL - which is kinda funny, because the card I showed yesterday was the Anniversary card I was going to give him.  Anyway, this "Build a Banner Kit" is a must have!!!  Can you imagine all the possibilities ~ birthdays, holidays, celebrations!  I can't stand it.  It goes on sale tomorrow...get ready my friends...cha-ching!
