My Creative Time ~ 12 Days of Christmas : Day 6

Hello again! We are half way there . . . it's Day 6 of the My Creative Time ~ 12 Days of Christmas. If you arrived here from Emma's blog, then you are headed in the right direction.  If not, then make sure you start there because you don't want to miss a thing!  I don't know about you, but I am blown away by all the creativity we have seen so far! This has been soooo much fun!

For my project today, I am doing something a little different.  I thought I would throw in a little home decor project.  I know that many people love to go all out when decorating their homes for the holidays.  Here is a little quick and easy idea to add to your collection:

These are cute little 4 inch holiday fragrant candles that I picked up for only a couple of dollars each.  They are a quick and easy project that you can add to any bathroom or hallway table in your house.  :)

This red candle is a yummy "cinnamon" scent.  The ribbon is from Offray (everyone always asks where I get this particular ribbon . . . it's from Walmart!)

The background shapes are cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop Die.  The paper is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection.  The starburst shape is cut with a die from the My Creative Time ~ Build A Banner Kit.  The cute little Mr. & Mrs. Claus outfits are from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  I colored them in with Prismacolor pencils.  And I also added some Stardust ~ Stickles for a little extra sparkle.

The scent of this candle is called "fresh linen".  The ribbon is Celebrate It ~ Holiday Bow-tique.

The background shapes are cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop Die. The paper is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection. The starburst shape is cut with a die from the My Creative Time ~ Build A Banner Kit. The cute little snowman is from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  And I colored him in with Prismacolor pencils.

The scent for this green candle is "evergreen" and it smells wonderful . . . like being in the outdoors.  :)  The beautiful ribbon is Celebrate It ~ Holiday Bow-tique.

The background shapes are cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop Die. The paper is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection. The starburst shape is cut with a die from the My Creative Time ~ Build A Banner Kit. The cute little Christmas Tree is from the My Creative Time ~ All Around Christmas stamp set.  And I colored it in with Prismacolor pencils.

You may be wondering how I got the little scallop shapes to stick to the candle.  Well, I didn't even try glue.  Instead, I used little straight stick pins and just put one on each side of the scallop shapes and pushed them straight into the candle.  Boy was my thumb sore.  LOL
