My Creative Time ~ 12 Days of Christmas : Day 4

Hello again everyone!  Can you believe all of the fun ideas so far?!?!  Well, it's time for Day 4 of the My Creative Time ~ 12 Days of Christmas.  If you arrived here from Emma's blog, then you are headed in the right direction.  If not, then make sure you start there, because you don't want to miss a thing!

Well, it's finally cold here.  Hey . . . don't laugh!  62 degrees in Phoenix, Arizona is FREEZING!!!  LOL  Anyway, since it's finally cooling off, I thought it was time to bring out the hot chocolate :)

I think these little holiday hot chocolate treats are so fun!!  And they are super easy to make!  The holder is a french fry-like box that is cut from the Art Philosophy ~ Cricut cartridge.  Unfortunately, I'm not lucky enough to own this cartridge yet.  However, I have a super terrific friend who actually trusted me enough to let me borrow hers --- across state lines!!!  Thanks my friend :)  Inside each box I put a little packet of hot chocolate and a miniature candy cane to use as a little stir stick.

The patterned paper for this little holder is from the Recollections ~ Sugar Plums paper stack.  The little embellishment is cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  The red cardstock for the scallop shape is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection.  The sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set.  The ink is Memento ~ Cottage Ivy.

The blue patterned paper for this holder is from the Die Cuts With A View ~ Winter Magic paper stack.  The embellishment is once again cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  The white shimmery cardstock for the scallop shape is from the Coredinations ~ Gemstone Collection.  The solid blue cardstock for the stitched circle cut is Recollections. The sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set.  And the ink is blue ~ Technique Tuesday.

The red patterned cardstock for this final holder is from the Recollections ~ Sugar Plums paper stack.  The embellishment is cut with the My Creative Time ~ Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  The paper for the scallop shape is from the Coredinations ~ Vintage Collection.  The sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set.  And the ink is Memento ~ Rhubarb Stalk.

Well, that's it for today.  Another quick and simple holiday treat.  These would be great for teachers and other school staff.  Heck, who doesn't love a good cup of hot chocolate?!  ;)
