DoveArt Designs Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  I have something new and exciting for you today.  Remember how I mentioned that I have been dabbling in the colorful world of Copics?  Well, my amazingly talented friend Jennifer Dove invited me to join her and a wonderfully creative bunch of ladies to celebrate her new rubber stamp line.  I'm just bubbling with excitement, so let's get to it!!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps and some of the gals from Make It Crafty and me ;) have come together for a fun hop and would like to share some exciting news with you.  Our friend Jennifer Dove has a wonderful new rubber stamp line called DoveArt Designs and Little Miss Muffet Stamps now has them in store.  Jennifer is focusing on more natural and realistic images with details to make the coloring experience easy.  We know you will enjoy creating something beautiful once you get your hands on them.

We hope you enjoy seeing what all the ladies have created  Make sure you leave comments for a chance to win.  We will be showing you just a few stamps, but the whole stamp line can be found HERE at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Ok, the stamp I have chosen to use is the DoveArt Designs ~ Himalayan Poppy.

I decided to make a monochromatic card with some color pop.  The Copics used for the monochromatic poppies are: N1, N3, N5, N7 and N9.  And the Copics used for the beautiful blue poppy are: B00, B01, B02, B04, B16 and YG03, YG17, YG67.

Here is a side view so you can see the dimension of the fun easel card.

I actually stamped this image three times.  The first image is directly on the scallop shape.  The second image is the monochromatic set that I fussy cut and layered onto the scallop shape.  And then the third layer is the blue poppy that I again fussy cut and layered onto the monochromatic layer.  If you look closely you can see the dimension.

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today.  A big THANK YOU to my friend Jennifer Dove for inviting me to be a part of her celebration.

My Creative Time ~ "Alumni Guest Designer"

Hello everyone!  I am super excited to be the "Alumni Guest Designer" for My Creative Time today.  Of course, Emma's last release was so super cute I just had to make 3 projects.  :)

My first two projects are these simple but fun Valentine's Day cards.  I just absolutely LOVE these new heart dies!!  Aren't they so much fun?!?!

This super simple card is one I made for my hubby  "Be Mine" is a sweet little phrase we have together, so this will be perfect for him.  All of the different colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  Both hearts are cut with the MCT ~ Heart 2 Heart Love Frame Dies.  And the "Be mine" is cut with the dies in the MCT ~ You Make My Heart Smile.

This one is still simple, but a little more fun.  Again, all of the different colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  I cut the background piece with the MCT ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  All of the hearts are cut with the MCT ~ Heart 2 Heart Love Frame Dies.  And the "Happy Valentine's Day!" is from the MCT ~ You Make My Heart Smile.

Now for my favorite of the 3 projects:

My in-laws have been married for 71 years!!!  Isn't that AMAZING?!?!?  I made this for them for Valentine's Day.  Once again, the hearts are cut with the MCT ~ Heart 2 Heart Love Frame Dies.  The label is cut with the MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Die.  And I stamped the date with the MCT ~ Just Simply Live.

Well that's it for me today.  I hope you enjoyed my Valentine projects.  A big THANKS to Miss Emma for inviting me back for a Guest Design day.  Have a great day everyone!  I will see you all again soon.

Cancer Support

Hello everyone!  Ok, one more Cancer Support project.  These are a couple of cards for a brother and a sister who are losing their father to cancer.  I used the same products on each card - just changed it up to make one more feminine and the other more masculine.

I cut the rectangular pieces with the My Creative Time ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  The two different pockets are cut with the My Creative Time ~ Fun Pockets.  The hearts are cut with the die in the My Creative Time ~ 100% Sweetness.  The label is cut with the My Creative Time ~ Vintage Stitched Label Dies. The sentiment is from the My Creative Time ~ Fun Pockets.  And the "love" is cut with the  My Creative Time ~ Family is Everything.

All of the pretty papers for the more feminine version of the card are from the Simple Stories ~ A Charmed Life collection.

And the papers for this more masculine version of the same card are from the Simple Stories ~ Take A Hike collection.

Well that's it for me today and that wraps up my Cancer Support week.  I hope you all have a great day.  I will see you again soon.

Cancer Support

Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoying my projects for this week.  I thought since I had to make so many of them I would just show them all in one week.  Even though they can be hard to make, I think they are so important and can be fun too.  So today I have a Cancer Support treat to brighten someone's day.  This one is for someone I know battling Melanoma.

I cut this treat holder using my Cameo and the SVG Cutting Files ~ Awareness Ribbon Candy Tube Holder.  The black, white and kraft cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  The black textured cardstock for the large ribbon in the background and the heart in the front is from Coredinations.

I cut the small awareness ribbon using the Jaded Blossom ~ Awareness Ribbon Die and I tied a bow around that with some hemp twine.  For the label in the front, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Ticket Book Dies.  The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Fight For a Cure.  The heart is from the My Creative Time ~ 100% Sweetness.  And of course inside the tube are some super yummy M&Ms.

Well that's it for me today.  I hope you are finding some neat ideas this week to support someone you love who may be battling a tough illness or just some tough times.  Have a great day everyone!  I will see you all again soon.

Cancer Support

Hello everyone!  Ok, I'm still doing projects for supporting someone with Cancer this week and today I have a super fun card to share with you.

Hee!  I told you it was fun!  I cut this card using my Cameo and the SVG Cutting Files ~ Bra Shaped Card file. All of the different colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  And the fun patterned paper is from the SEI ~ With All My Heart collection.  The sentiment on the front is the Jaded Blossom ~ Fight For A Cure.  I heat embossed that with Versamark ~ Watermark Ink and White ~ Stampendous Embossing Powder.  I added a couple of little bows with some white ~ hemp twine.  And then in the center of the bra I added a little red heart gem.

On the inside, I added another sentiment from the same Jaded Blossom ~ Fight For A Cure.  And I cut the heart with the My Creative Time ~ 100% Sweetness.  If you look really closely at the top of the picture, you can see that to close the card - I added a clear little velcro dot.

I absolutely love how this turned out and I think it's such a fun Cancer Support card to give someone fighting Breast Cancer.  Hope you like it too.  That's it for me today.  I hope you have a great day.  I will see you all again soon.

Cancer Support

Hello everyone!  I'm back again with another card today.  This time I have something a little different, it's for someone who lost their dog to cancer.

The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.  I cut the background piece with the MCT ~ Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  Then I used the large heart die in the MCT ~ Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO Dies to cut out the heart piece so I could frame the doggie.  I cut the little doggie with the MCT ~ Loyal Friends.  I cut him out about 3 times for dimension.  The sentiment is from the MCT ~ Live Love Bark and I stamped that with Versafine ~ Onxy Black Ink.  And then I added the name using the MCT ~ Uppercase Fun Dies.

That's it for me today.  Another quick card, but I just love how it turned out.  I hope you all have a great day. I will see you all again soon with another Cancer Support card that's a bit more fun.
